Birthdays

They come every year and it seems like the older you get the lamer they are.  I remember when I was young, I counted down the days until my birthday.  It was a huge deal.  I planned out what I was going to do that day and the party I was going to have.  Since I started college, birthdays are just another day.  I get to have cake, read birthday wishes on Facebook, and go shopping for my own birthday present (to myself).  I have even stopped taking pictures with my cake.  I'm not complaining....I'm just stating the facts.

This year, I'm more excited to my babies birthday.  She is turning 1!  I can't believe that I have a one year old!  In a few short days, she gets to have a party and eat her own birthday cake! No doubt this event will result in at least 30 pictures and a very messy house.  But still, I'm excited!!
